UAT MOPS Development
Draft Materials
Development of a
revision to the UAT MOPS (originally RTCA DO-282) began with Meeting
#15 of Working Group 5 on 23 April 2003 and ended with Meeting #21
on 7 April 2004 and the approval of the draft version of RTCA
DO-282A during the RTCA SC-186 Plenary on 8 April 2004.
The following table was
used during the RTCA SC-186 Final Review and Comment (FRAC) period
of the review of the draft versions of the proposed
Revision A of the UAT MOPS (RTCA DO-282). The actual document files
identified below were removed from this web site after the RTCA
SC-186 Plenary approved the identified changes and resolutions to
FRAC comments during their Plenary session on 8 April 2004.
Those proposed changes identified in the table below, along with the
resolution to the FRAC comments approved during Plenary session will
be implemented into the base document and submitted to the RTCA
Program Management Committee (PMC) for their review and approval for
publication. If you have questions on the UAT MOPS, RTCA
DO-282A, you should contact the Working Group
Secretary, Gary Furr via email or phone identified at the bottom of
this page. After RTCA PMC approval, the electronic version of
this document will be offered for sale on the RTCA web site.

The original UAT MOPS (RTCA DO-282) was developed by RTCA
SC-186 Working Group 5 members over the period of approximately
18 months beginning with Meeting 1 in December 2000 and ending with
Meeting 14 and the RTCA SC-186 Plenary review in June 2002.
The table below shows the major sections of the document and the
