Working Group 4B is co-chaired by Jonathan Hammer, of The MITRE Corporation/CAASD and Sethu Rathinam, of Rockwell Collins.  For questions or information about WG-4 activities, please contact Jonathan at <jhammer@mitre.org>.

Currently, WG-4B is developing requirements for the Airborne Separation Assurance Systems (ASAS) Minimum Operational Performance Specifications (MOPS).  WG-4B sub-groups are developing requirements for the three major sub-systems of ASAS.  The Surveillance Transmit Processing (STP) sub-group developed and published requirements for the STP, which processes own-ship data as necessary prior to transmitting it within ADS-B broadcasts.  The Aircraft Surveillance Application Processing (ASAP) sub-group is currently developing requirements for ASAP, which will process received surveillance data and other information as necessary to perform ASA applications.  The Cockpit Display of Traffic Information (CDTI) subgroup is currently defining the CDTI, which serves as the flight crew interface for all ASA applications and equipment .

ASA MASPS Materials:  To download any available materials from the development efforts of the ASA MASPS (DO-289), follow this link to a table of all WG4 ASA MASPS meetings.
